Oil/Water Separation- from 40,000 ppm down to 2 ppm, MARPOL's limit 5 ppm

Through its consortium, Elmosa has been active in the engineering, building, and operation of Port Reception Facilities since 1972. We evaluate data, design the system using state of the art technology, supply and deliver the components, construct and operate them.

Ships at the harbor waiting to deliver their cargo and dispose of the wastes and the slops they generate

The way the reception facilities we design and implement work is that the ships and oil tankers deliver the engine slop and bilge wastewater and ballast waters and wastes they generate in their trips to a particular reception facility in the port via one or various modes of waste transfer (barges, tanker trucks, pipelines, etc.). Bilge water is treated, oil is separated and reused and water with an oil content <0.3 ppm is safely discharged.
